Yea I'm just doing dividend reinvestment schemes in my son's shares. I'm not hugely concerned with the whole thing, if i have a good portfolio and am financially sound in 20 yrs (which i plan to be), I'll be able to help him out myself obviously. His portfolio isn't large, makes more sense to put spare cash in the mortgage and save on interest rather than top up his portfolio.
