ARG and AFI are far too similar to the index for my liking with tracking errors of about 1% and have underperformed the index over the past 1, 3 and 5 years, only marginally outperformed the index over 10 years.
There are much better performing LICs out there particularly the Wilsons.
WLE ( WAM Leaders) will do better than ARG and AFI for larger cap exposure and has already done well in its first year and yet still trading slightly under NTA.
ARG and AFI now slightly above NTA.
I'd never buy an index style LIC at or above NTA but maybe at a 5+% discount.
