The key point I was making about the cosmetics is that they (the girls) were dabbing it on their hand to see how it looks on their skin - I think this is something you can only do in person plus there it may add to the overall shopping experience.

For women that already know their specific colour and brand of choice I suppose they might be more inclined to bulk buy online but when you go out to the shops the volumes of customers still appear plentiful.
