I short for the fun & intellectual discipline it brings me.
I don't need the money from my shorting profits it's more like a hobby like collecting gold artifacts.
Winning on the longside is so easy that if that's all I did I'd get fat & lazy.
ps as for the rest of your post I'll leave you to ponder that.
