This comes from a 66 year old at war with the contemporary world, who thinks that China is going to take over Australia so we need to develop nukes and that lefties are thieves and should be charged with treason among many others. Sure, okay Amazon is going to rule over the world *Sarcasm*, so much so that it only has 5 percent total retail market share EXCLUDING FOOD in the United States. It is important to realize that the United States of America is its main base of operation, its main income earner at its zenith of conduciveness whether it is infrastructure or population number and yet Amazon is struggling to grow its market share leading to it having to buy physical groceries store. Facts do not lie. By your logic, there shouldn't be any brick and mortar retail stores in the US but yet there they are still as profitable as they have been. The pattern is also consistently repeated in the UK and Canada so it is obvious that any amazon impact in Australia WILL be soft. The only thing affecting API bottomline and most retailer at the moment is consumer sentiment, which is down for the count due to the doom and gloom.

API is not selling electronics, novelty, gimmick, trinkets or high value items but everyday stuff that people expecially women can't live without on a daily basis, if there is any retail that would survive it would be retailers like priceline pharmacy, cafes and the rest. Just because you are an extreme right winged, bitter and at war with the world retiree doesn't mean that everyone else is too. Honestly, I wouldn't care if your opinion is an objective observation with no hidden agenda, I even would value it, but that is obviously not the case. You are a random nameless retiree who sieve through what stock is currently down for the week and try to be inflammatory in the relevant forums. You obviously get a kick out of it and treating as an outlet for your pent up outrage at something, probably the world.

How is your telstra share doing? I heard it is going to cut its dividend. Should I go there and downramp too?
