There were a couple of articles in the Fin Review on the same day that they announced Bruce Butcher's contract wasn't being renewed. One article speculated that Bruce Butcher had got the NSW gov't off-side with his fist thumping approach to removing obstacles to exploration, and also detailed the strong legal backing the anti-lobbyist were generating to defer or defeat further exploration. The other article was about a QLD hydrologist who disputed SGL's research that their exploration would have minimal impact on th water supply. Basically a triple whammy of bad news on day with big sell off. I sold yesterday - got no idea if they'll recover near term or not.
