This is not the first time this has happened and usually occurs twice a year or thereabouts. One theory put forward on this site was that there is short selling going on to weed out the nervous and make a quid. Perhaps? In the other instances there has been a sharp rise following the falls so there may be some credence to the thought. I have a buy order in.
