Earnings in US$ converted to A$ will in fact increase as the A$ falls against the US$.
I plain language they will ‘buy’ more A$ as the US$ become stronger against the A$.

So what ?
CST has a revenue stream in US$ and will pay US expenses from that pool before ‘migrating’ all, part of or none of the profit back to OZ.
These are all book entries anyway.
