Thanks postaone for alerting us to this morning' BHP announcement. Worth starting a new thread.
Once again (for the third time) the gods of nearology have placed a discovery somewhat near RDM's tenements.
This latest discovery is about 80k north of the current OZ JV drilling (6 holes) on RDM's tenements (with OZ's destined Carrapateena mine about halfway in-between).
As with Olympic Dam, Carrapateena and RDM/OZ''s hoped for drill targets, this is another IOCG mineralised system.
A truly massive intersection - 425m at 3% Cu. ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE!!! The disadvantage - it's 1 km deep!!
RDM/OZ's targets 80k south (and about 150k south of Olympic Dam) are much shallower i.e. roughly 500m.
