I'm just reading a RBS report and it says that BG have already got 2P reserves of over 7000 PJ - that'll take them to the 15 year mark with gas required for the plant per year being 530PJ. They also believe the reserves + resources to be above 17000PJ.
I retract my statement about takeovers and replace it with a positive thought that there may be some gas supply contracts drawn up in the near term.
