best value of the big lics at less than nta

The large listed investment companies like ARG, AFI, and MLT generally trade at a premium to their underlying NTA.

According to my calculations MLT is now trading at a discount to NTA. On Friday MLT closed at $15.00 but has an NTA of approximately $15.26 (2% discount).

In comparison AFI closed at $4.65 but has approximate NTA of $4.21 (10% premium). ARG closed at $6.17 and has an NTA of approximately $5.41 (14% premium).

This makes MLT the cheapest of the three big LICs with the best dividend yield.
