Depends, if they are using handheld Field XRF machines they should be able to give indicative results subject to lab confirmation when making initial announcement as they can analyse as drilling is happening with geo comments on the side to confirm observations such as massive chalcopyrite, phyrotite or pentlandite being present. This would be the normal practice for most companies today as these field instruments are pretty cheap and give great initial results.
