Hi MaseyFerguson, I know nothing about MML but with the uncertainty in the gold price, how can anyone pin a PE on FY14 for any gold stock? For KRM there is even more uncertainty as we have no idea what production is expected from Talang Santo. Using FY12 Way Lingo production and a bad indicator of future performance, I can paint a picture that gives a KRM FY14 PE of 3:
Gold produced and sold: 40,000 oz @ US$1250/oz
Silver produced and sold: 500,000 oz @ US$20/oz
Revenue: US$60m
Total cost of production: US$20m
Earnings: US$40m @ US$0.92/AUD
EPS: AU$0.167 PE($0.53):3.16
Is that PE of 3 any more or less likely than a MML PE of 2? Noone knows.
