That's because BlackRock are doing this through their ETFs. No fundamental analysis at all. Rules based, market cap weighted benchmark. MLX has been rebalanced out it seems. They had 50m shares until 19 Feb and began dumping. You'll see they did about 30% of this selling by Feb end. So based on volumes since, I'm guessing they are basically done which should limit further downside.
