Now, now. It's not fake if they genuinely believe that a wife must submit to your will, and is basically a chattel. In that case, rape within marriage is impossible. If you don't think like a fundamentalist, and appreciate the circular logic....that's your problem...

But seriously....I recently asked a particularly offensive hypocrite, if she'd ever given thought to the concept that aside from the church (wherein she finds refuge and likeminded pals), Christ himself might not actually be all that impressed with her? Then I did something unexpected: I forgave her for her very appalling behaviour and told her so. This completely messed with her mind.
I've read (can't recall where) that Trump was making a play for the nomination as a way of shoring up his cred for a deal that was in the offing. (In Russia?) But if he already owed the Russians by then, it's entirely possible he was acting under their direction from early on. This explains the subservient and deferential behaviour towards Putin, is no fan of democracy. It also explains why he's so admiring of various dictators around the world. He wouldn't mind being feted and given military parades like they do in North Korea and China....
As you probably know, Trump never expected to win the nomination, let alone win the final prize. But once in, he decided to throw everything he had, at it without spending much cash. As you know, the campaign was run in a very unorthodox manner, and reliant on News Ltd/Fox, social media and the likes of Cambridge Analytica and Steve Bannon with all his media contacts...and the Russians.. remember the call out..."are you hearing this Russia?" He's a bit dumb...I think even Putin finds him embarassing; Putin is cat-like and agile and Trump is an oaf.
He bullied his way around the sandpit of the debates etc. Just acted naturally.
One factor not directly mentioned but I think is probably crucial in the growing movement to eliminate him is the Pentagon, FBI and military. Trump's decisions re Syria etc have them all horrified. NATO ditto. Interference in FBI etc? Ditto. Disregard for diplomacy, protocol, convention, inability to read or follow briefs etc Ditto. Removal of Chief of Staff with moderating voice. Ditto. So this has to be carefully managed including the gun toting outliers. They think it's all Deep State stuff anyway....
Drawing it out makes sense in that nobody would want Pence to take over as a result of impeachment, least of all Nancy Pelosi. The man's eyes are way too close together for my liking. He seems incapable of measured and logical thought let alone thinking independently.
