I think infoseeker was trying to make the point that because of GM foods the bees are being affected. Now wiping out a species and and replacing with a self pollinating crop is crazy-massive problems for the food chain. If they where doing this(which i highly doubt as not only would that be unethical there would be massive implications to the companies trying to do so) their days would be numbered. I know there are two camps on the GM debate so i wont get into that, however i for one try my hardest to steer clear of feeding GM foods to my family.
