I'm with Nabtrade, I had to open a separate international trading account with them (as of today I've only ever been trading ASX shares on Nabtrade) and then email them a "WithholdingTax Treaty Statement to activate the account.
Now Nabtrade are telling me that in order to transfer the shares into the account they would only do it for values > $10k and my holding is only worth a little over $1k so they cannot help me?!
They also said I can get the Canadian registry to sell the holding on my behalf (?!) but I cannot see anything along these lines in the letter I received from them, so now I'm stuck with a small parcel of shares and don't know what to do with them - doh!
Kicking myself for not selling on ASX before they delisted - my dumbest investment ever as I lost about 95% of market value when trading on the ASX and now I cannot even sell to recognise capital loss!!!
