As the article mentions, the Central Me'ekamui JV company has applied to be joined to the action, presumably on the side of the defendants (ABG & others).

Still can't see their case & why the majority shareholders, ABG & PNG goverments, allow this waste of money amazes me. Maybe blackskinpla is right when he says that they have no voting rights, but this was not mentioned anywhere in all the announcements & press releases issued when RIO handed the shares over to the governments in an attempt to walk away from their restoration responsibilities & any compensation claims.
