An interesting article in Creamer today in which Norilsk, through CEO Marriot, pretty much pushing their case by belittling Botswana and predicting dire outcomes for Bots mining sector (and by inference BML etc. of course) which I personally doubt will eventuate. Actually the CEO (Norilsk) comes across as a bit of a holier than thou self serving p in the a considering N themselves are hardly a benevolent society in their own dealings. He claims Nkomati "remains a commercially successful asset" but my reading of ARM reports show Nkomati profitable only at higher prices whereas rest of Mr Motsepe's companies under ARM seem to be doing quite well.
Who knows how all this will pan out, esp for BML? As gs said much intrigue afoot. At the same time the silence from BML (and KPMG by the way) remains deafening.
