Hi traders. I found this video interesting - a case for higher US equities. Earnings increases noted in a number of S&P500 companies last quarter makes me think this movement is inflation induced. This would fuel the requirement for increasing interest rates and coupled with a decreasing balance sheet a rush to the USD would increase its value as stated in the video. I dont really understand how this translates to higher equities as a moderate amount of S&P500 has considerable debt. Does anyone else know why the presenter thinks equities go up on a strong dollar?
