When the S&P 500 eventually starts falling, there will be ample time to hop on board and profit from the decline. So far as of today, my short-term system does not indicate a short trade entry for the S&P 500. I try not to predict or front-run the market. Instead I will be looking for BBUS to trade around $5.25 or higher. This should also coincide with a 9/21/50 EMA crossing up on a 1-hour chart.
On a 1-hour chart, the 9-period line has crossed up above the 21-period line. Final confirmation is for these lines to both cross above the 50-period EMA line. This has not happened yet, hence I don't trade.
We all have to recall Elliott Wave poster boy Robert Prechter's woeful record regarding his constant calls over many years that the S&P 500 will crash.
