I think this "round table" is a measured response with respect to the push to the port.
At worse it will add credibility to the UAE, that they were happy to pause to look for a humanitarian outcome, at the expense of the Houthis fortifying positions. The last thing UAE need is negative press for the inevitable human suffering. This round of talks may legitimise the push.
