There are about a dozen companies marketing domestic power storage solutions on the Australian market (not counting the older Lead/Acid types), Tesla is actually ranked in the middle of the pack. Some can even sell their stored power back to the grid at peak times to make a few dollars if you use an energy company that allows that. The big game changer will be when the Vanadium Redox Flow battery is finally commercialized for domestic use, it will knock the socks off the current Lithium Ion offerings in terms of lifespan and cost per kWh for larger batteries.
