I think IFN will work just fine with lower electricity prices. Naturally, I would prefer the nose-bleed pricing generators currently enjoy, but as they say, the cure for high prices is... high prices.
Yes, I am grumpy with myself for subscribing for the CR. It lifted my av share cost to 46c. I will sell the parcel on recovery and restore my position.
If i rates rise, the premium charged IFN by GS will shrink, and so will your concerns.
The gas peakers are suddenly stranded assets too - batteries/pumped hydro will flatten peak pricing. This will become more pronounced as more batteries/ph are installed.
