In regard to financing, have a look through the merger announcements - but the smallest document (easiest download) is the 11 page announcement released on 22/12 (latest announcement by MEL). The last dot point on page 2 states: "Transaction conditional on Metgasco sourcing additional funds on acceptable terms by 31 March 2015." Acceptable terms to me implies debt.
In regard to the cash balance the combined entity will have cash of approximately 9 million.
