Thanks Goldilocks, The Yalumba was as smooth as silk, crystal clear and after an hour or so the soft berry flavours wafted out of the glass superbly. I think better than when I last enjoyed one in 1996. As I recall it was a Birthday wine I bought for the locals to enjoy. In the same batch (which I found hidden in my garage under a huge pile of boxes) were a further 3 Yalumba and 1/2 doz Leconfield 95 Shiraz so they have all been dusted off in preparation for next weeks party. I trust this is a great omen. You surely would have to bet better than 50 / 50 that Wardie and Seahorse must be linked and if so it could be rather large if as they claim we have only touched the side of Seahorse. Remember Woodside didn't crack it 100% with first well, as I recall but if they are part of the same formation then this field could be HUGE. It's more than possible Seahorse alone may surprise all. Fingers crossed.
