I checked this with std. indicators -->Stochastics and 80 and 20 as switch lines:
use: Stochastics(10,7,4) (Stoch) and lines at 80 and 20
use: EMA(9) and SMA(35)

short: if Stoch cross below 80 AND EMA(9) falling --> short
long: if Stoch cross above 20 AND EMA(9) ascending --> long

This easy arrangement works on most platforms, timeframes & instruments s.y. -
