a good explanation from another Poster in NDO called "YA" re the re spud in sc63

    thanks YA !

Seems like a minor glitch for the top hole, 'unstable geological zone' or too much cavings in the 169m section that's affected their running the 30" casing.

The formation in the top 250m at this location seems 2b mostly shell/coral debris which usually aren't consolidated & might have posed a challenge in running the 30" casing.

Not sure if there's any 'shallow fault' as per the 'fuzzy' seismic section on slide-11, hence the move 100m away for a redrill.

    ----------------------------------------------------------

    FWIW's Bara#1 has 2 components:

    1) vertical section &
    2) a deviated section (ie high angle 39 degrees).

They'll drill the 17" open hole thro' the main fault

    - run the 13" casing at apprx 982m depth

    - drill the 12.25" diameter openhole section & kickoff the well off at 39 degrees frm 1120m to 1963m (see slide#12 of the AGM).

    - Set 9" casing at ~1960m & then drill the objective 8.5" section into the Target Pagasa Sandstone reservoir.

Hope this helps, will swingby later as they provide further updates
