"Thevagrants" said 6 months ago "A lot will happen in the next 14 months" with the WPIOP.... He was spot on.... It's not only happening it's hitting the fan!

When I started investing in Aurizon last year... I've done that on the basis the company would not fall behind the curb like many other quality Australian companies... The bluesteels.. and the one steels etc... Instead it would grasp the opportunity to grow its partnership with Baosteel and develop a quality Railway and Port in the Pilbara that provides growth and status for years to come.... especially with the way Coal is heading... China is already switching their power stations from coal to gas with amazing results as shown on the ABC... the Sky is blue in Beijing ...
My investment was for the kids... for the future...
But NO... some of the big investors in AZJ want a quick buck... they are crying their eyes out, begging for a shares buyback and special dividend... And of course, No WPIOP ... It's a dud and waste of money..
So if we take the money and run...What's next? A buoyant mining industry in QLD? Carting Coal for how long? with the climate change Barbarians at the gates...
Now Baosteel is looking at other options and who would blame them! With all the whinging about the price of IO from the partners ... like if IO price is different than other metals? If it was what's all this activity in Brazil and Australia about...?

Baosteel could use FMG railway and port and ship ore from their Aquila acquisition plus some from BC iron and other more than willing holders... and forget the marriage of inconvenience ....
What ever happens... I'll get my money back from AZJ...... and as for CUL.... .it has joint ventures with FMG and so many players... It's my favourite "Penny Tart".... Cullenites always get a run once every few years... like the Pilbara floods.... after a long dry season gorgeous flowers pop up... The last time we collected them was in 2007.... I'll wait till 2017..
