And instead of discouraging fossil fuel use, they promote it, like Australia .

How many hurricans, bush fires and floods is it going to take for the message to get through?

Perhaps the only compelling argument people are going to get is the reduced impact on their hip pocket and enhanced performance. EVs are getting there with ot with tax rebates. As it is, exponential growth with a 2 year doubling time is already apparent in the EV sales data and this will ensure supply side constraints.

And when the gold rush starts there will be a stampede.
