I would love a copy of the contracts for that very reason.

As you say, a minimum price could well be a part of the agreement, and if you think about it, at the time of the signing we were most certainly in the "drivers seat", not to mention the fact that guaranteed supply was also in the best interest of the customer.

And you cant meet supply if the company goes under.

So on that basis I'd say you are likely right on the money.
