I doubt you’re even short to be honest.

the issue with dish washers is that if you don’t maintain them, or rinse your plates prior to putting them in, you seemingly end up with a build up of filth in the bottom filter. That filter if left unattended can manefest and begin to breed bacteria at an alarming rate.

I manage to clean my filter out on a regular basis, eliminating the spread of any potential contamination.

I liken this forum very much to my dishwasher at the moment. Except I am increasingly questioning the people inserting the plates, AKA mods....
