I spoke to Commsec immediately afterwards and they said that there are "no rules" but when you put in a bid like that they may reject it or they may sell at market. Where can I get an official ASX position on this? Sorry to hijack the thread - I agree that they are still cheap and I would still be holding if I didn't sell.
