Never say never to stuff like lab grown protein like beef etc.. technology is moving exponentially quickly, and politicians never do the right thing or the thing that makes most sense, in fact politicians usually approve the stuff that makes the least sense from the point of view of business etc.. so govt can easily approve lab grown meat in the decades to come , especially if a very rich multi national company that's developing lab grown beef gives a donation to both major political parties
