You might wonder why I am skeptical when it comes to research reports?
An example from a couple of years ago. A free research report / advertisement from a “business” pushing a listed companies barrow stated something like...
“A huge increase in the SP over the last 2 months from .1c to 3c how good is company X and it’s product. They based it all on nothing but potential sales to 25m people when the targeted people represented about 2m people”
The cheer squad went wild, a few red hearts and day traders showed up, the SP spiked, only to eventually fall back! With no sales!
What the spin doctors who wrote the research report (advertisement) forgot to mention was the 30-1 consolidation that took the SP from .1c to 3c!!!!!
I mentioned the consolidation and was laughed at and ridiculed by the turbo charged rampers for being a”non holder” What they did not know was that I had held that company for about 10 years and have extensive knowledge on it! Although I did not hold at the time!
And the spin doctors had a similar disclaimer then! All care taken but no responsibility for errors and omissions ((because it was free!))
