Agree with a lot of what you say, but not all! Valid for 30 day is correct, but if the price is accepted with in 30 days. It’s fixed price to the end sometimes up to 12 months. No rise and fall!
In my line of work it’s all fixed price and only variations being additions to or reductions of quantities come into play.
