Here is the content of my moderated post exculding the reference where I said I'm not interested in continuing the comparison with that other company that I'm not allowed to mention.........lol
"As a general comment on the recent significant exploration targets, I would suggest that 12.5 to 25.2Mozs should really be qualified with a more significant adjective than "significant". It just seems to me that the company is currently in large story telling mode to attract dollars. That's fair enough as long as they keep it real.
But the "real" stories with these penny stocks are normally told by dollars raised, shares issued and by the share price. The appetite of western institutional investors for spec end gold companies is not presently very strong and even less so in the DRC since the mining code changes. The question of being able to source funding for any future mine development should be high on any investors risk/discounting factors and also be applied to any price predictions. This is the most important factor IMO for VEC along with country risk factors. I've been warning AVZ investors all the way down from 30 cents (to no avail......no one heard me above the voices of the rampers) of a similar confluence of mitigating risk factors to their own arguements about their company owning a world class lithium resource in the DRC.
I would be keeping an eye on ORR as an example, they are more advanced but in a similar situation in Tanzania where western appetite to fund multi hundred million dollar projects held by juniors has dried up due to the behaviour of government. If ORR can get funding to complete their DFS and build a mine, VEC might have a chance. Anyone investing here should realise that their money might never see the light of day in terms of an eventual gold mine.
Can VEC produce specualtive gains for investors, possibly, but the chances of it surving all the challenges to see gold production are very small indeed IMO. Esh"
I'm not sure if this post is cross-promoting ORR or not, which I don't hold. In fact I'm pretty confused about the cross-promotion rules altogether. If we are not allowed to discuss other companies in our posts for comparison purposes then I better get busy reporting a good percentage of posts that are posted on HC. Esh
