It might pay to read the Company release to the ASX today.
Short summary
4 properties have been subject to, Unprecedented levels of flooding not seen before in the Gulf Region. Wondoola Stn most affected, heard aprox 30,000 head of cows and their calves are expected to sustain Extreme losses.
Canobie, Dalgonally and Carrum Stn, current heard aprox 50,000 cows and their calves are expected to sustain lower, but still material losses. For what it's worth, I have been told the region has suffered one of the biggest livestock losses in Australian history.
If they have lost 30,0000 cow + calves from a total of 80,000 cows + calves @ say $1500 per cow calf unit = $45,000,000 M
I am not hear to down ramp, just making people aware of the extreme situation.
They may even value the cow calf unit higher than I have, I feel that's a starting point.
Feeling for all involved and have had more than enough experience of drought and flooding rains.
