I held AAC from about 10 years ago until early last year when I made the call to swap the holding with RFF. When I first bought AAC they were trading somewhere around $2, but had a reported NTA of about $2.70. I thought they were a bargain then, but they have been one of the most dismal shares I've ever held, going from one bad decision to the next.
I really don't know what you mean by a good company, I assume you mean it has iconic and good assets, but as a company it has been appalling.
