I have never heard of (but doesn't mean it's not available) flood/drowning insurance for livestock in my 40+ years experience on the land although individual livestock can be insured for death but is prohibitively expensive and usually only used in stud breeding situations. Stock can be insured against fire but that's no help here.
Haven't had time to crunch numbers although the market could overreact but the main catalyst for AAC will be a halt to sagging cattle prices. Will happen but when is the question.
