FX and K,
I have agreed with most of what you have posted under the heading of what I would style:
"the need for our company to grow up and transition from a start up that has never turned a legitimate profit into a good corporate citizen, with all that implies in relation to governance and transparency."
I am probably a little more optimistic than you FX on the chances of this ever happening i.e. eventually....but I am certainly not holding my breath. I certainly don't subscribe to RD or Syd's optimistic forecasts for an eldorado just around the corner.
However most of us here seem to see the huge potential in the IP and awards such as the one today (which is clearly not the first) point to a peer respect for the work that is being done and the IP that is being slowly developed...more slowly than we would like but with some early milestones being passed nonetheless.
We shouldn't lose sight of the fact that when we put a portion of our hard earned savings or superannuation into our company we are making a SPECULATIVE INVESTMENT.
Regular posters will note I have been quiet for a little while and I have used that time to re-read many past posts, the board reform site and the various "commissioned Research Reports". My conclusion is that at present I think the stock still stacks up as a good medium term speculative play up to 15 cents.
In a perverse kind of way I think that the dodgy board shenanigans we have all asked probing questions about has been what has held the SP to levels where small investors can build a stake without risking the retirement nest egg. Yes as with any speculative investment you have to be prepared to lose that stake, but it is precisely because of that risk that we can expect handsome rewards if it comes off. I am comfortable with my decision to average down in February not because I am theoretically back in the black (on current volumes I doubt I could sell my entire holding at 8 cents) but because I believe in the products we are trying to bring to market. Instead of talking about "baggers" perhaps we should be talking more about speculation continuing to play a useful role in contemporary society by providing capital for new industries and untested innovations where success is far from certain. One consolation here is that NuSep Holdings is not a one trick pony.
FX and K please continue to push for an improvement in governance and an end to dodgy deals at the expense of shareholders, but perhaps also try to stand back and look at the big picture. Todays announcement has to be good even if it does not translate to a jump in the SP.
As always DYOR
Kind regards,
