ok lets assume it gaps down to 2.90 (even tho we know wht the interim results were) - its a no cost strategy.
If gaps to 2.90 and puts from my perspective are out of the money lets just say 40c but I just made 18c so I would be theoretically out pocket 22c. now assume I have 20,000 shares. I lose 4,400$ - not exactly going to destroy my wealth now is it
