There are tax advantages for those that averaged down by selling those that are bought at the higher prices and holding those bought recently at the low price. I had that advantage when trading on the way down but it is catching up now that I have been trading between the three on the way up.
The beauty of tax is that you must be making a profit if you are due to pay tax and tax doesn't take the lot.
