I agree with shares2. Look what happened to SSN's sp. After they completed the lateral, they ann'd the frac wouldn't happen for another month, so the sp dived. Constant good news drives up the sp.
Hilcorp should be near to completing the next lateral, then 2 weeks frac job and IP 4 days later. Now the results are going to be 30 days later after frac. Traders can't wait and move on to more pressing opps. The early wells are all about proving up resources and/or de-risking the play.
The silver lining is what Estseon alluded to earlier today. The monthly ave's for Kennedy are due next week if today's ann are adhered to.
L/T nothing changes except the feel good factor happens later rather than sooner.
