Doodlebugger: I agree .I based it on SSN getting 2900 bo/d from a 5000 ft frac. in a totally different area. The Eagle Ford is getting the reputation of being ,potentially, the best shale producer so far in the US.If it is better, then we might expect 3000bo/d. At worst and assuming a linear connection between production and length of horizontal we should expect at least 1100x5/3.This gives about 1800bo/d. I'm hoping for more as this is the first well completed totally by Hilcorp and they seem very good at it!
Also SSN initially had about 900bo/d when they only tested part of their horizontal and it rose to 2900bo/d when they were able to test the whole 5000ft.It's dangerous comparing different areas but the figures were similar in all respects ,so I'm reasonably confident we will do better than the 1800bo/d. It can vary greatly from place to place so can only be an approximation. Our wells seem to have good production so far!!Let's all hope for the higher figure.
