The $25k is the consultancy fee for monthly services that AG, the entire company, renders to AVZ. It’s likley any travel costs are included in this monthly charge i.e no additional recharge for any business travel. I’ve seen these types of agreements before and this is normal. Also, for perspective, $25k per month is not excessive remuneration. Most upper middle to senior management positions in the resource sector would gross $15k to $20k per month.

Lastly, AG’s job is to advise. It’s up to AVZ management to act (or not) on the advice. Ask yourself this question. Look at the principles of AG, look how many shares they have, look that they haven’t sold any. How much have they lost thus far? Focus on the $25k if you want but my guess is that with their combined 48,000,000+ shares its likely their working with our shared interest at heart!
