How would they pay for such a transaction? I imagine they would require a placement...not sure it would be all good news...depending if they did and at what price the placement was done...Could it be that the mooted transaction had been depressing the price (ie. placement required at discount), and now the deal is rumoured to be off?
Just speculation on my part...
