If you’re still hanging on like me LT, it’s just a bottom drawer job for now. I plan on retiring in 40 years. I’m happy to wait another 4 to see what happens with AVL.
Technical analysis is a lot more relevant with top 100 stocks. Significantly more. Mainly because they have enough volume and historical support and resistance points that can show where accumulation or distribution is occurring.
A great trader will most likely get 35% of their growth picks right, but will ensure they let the winners run to compensate for the 65% they miss. Usually they will set anywhere between a 20-25% stop losses, and move onto their next growth selection if and when their algorithms trigger a buy.
If you think the companies fundamentals have changed for the worse then it’s better to probably cut your losses. IMO from what I’ve read here and in the due diligence space, that is not the case for AVL. It is more related to Cyclical market conditions and resources sector suffering as a consequence. That will turn and whether 2c is a bottom or 1.2c is a bottom for AVL doesn’t matter long term.
Cheers and Happy New Year.
