I change my mind lots of times on companies. If they're going up I love them. If they're going down I sell them and hate them.
I can't think of any same reason to like a stock while it's falling!
Eg hated KGN closer to $9 when it began to fall. Bought back last week in the $2.70s because it looked like falls had stopped. Now I like it again.
Maybe I've got it all wrong and making money is more difficult than this. Then I check my returns and they tell me to ignore everybody else
As for averaging down.... It can work if you're lucky and happy to wait but it seems like unnecessary hard work and risk to me.
I can't wait to see the reactions if I ever do! Can you imagine...
