Years ago I bought a stock EXT for 2cents. I wanted to see which made more money trading or doing absolutely nothing except holding, so I bought 2 parcels of exactly the same amount one in my name (trading) one in my wife's name (hold). In one year the stock went to 14 cents.While I thought i did pretty well trading the high's and low's, I was out of both parcels in just over one year .Both made pretty good money. I went on to other stocks. However in the next year or so the global financial crisis occured and all the uranium stocks got smashed. I decided to check out what happened to EXT. There had been a share consolidationof 10 to 1 so my entry price would have been 20 cents. To my shock in the middle of the GFC EXT had skyrocketed to $11.00 dollars.IF I'd done nothing except hold I would have made more money with only 1 trade than all my years of trading.! Fast forward to AVL. It is not a 55 bagger at this stage but I believe it has potential. At some point in the future I will say to myself yes it's reached it's full potential or this is as good as it's gonna get and I will sell. It won't be because of a chart or because of an individual that posts just to stroke his own ego. It will be because of the story
